Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) have had great success at forming buyer groups. For instance, the large network of the World Wild Life Foundation has been used in The Netherlands to sell solar water heating systems. The advantage for the Foundation has been to give their members a visible green image, and the advantage for the Solar Industry has been to obtain access to this huge buyer group. The Foundation gave the technology a "stamp of approval". In Canada, ENERACT and Peterborough GREENUP are two local NGO's which are successfully partnering as a buyer group under this Task.
